If you are driving to our historic hotel, here are the current road conditions.

On the Autobahn, choose the Arbon Süd exit towards the center. The Römerhof is located directly on the main street. You can park in front of the hotel at the parking lot where 'Gasthaus Römerhof' is mentioned. The other part des parking lot is public. 

 

If you arrive by public transport, the nearest bus stop is Stahelplatz. It is about a 10-minute walk from Arbon train station to the hotel. From Seemoosriet train station it is about 20 minutes along the lake.

Arrive cheaply and comfortably by public transport
Thanks to saver tickets and saver day tickets, you benefit from particularly cheap tickets for your journey by public transport. You can get supersaver tickets and supersaver day tickets at SBB.ch or via SBB Mobile. And you don't have to worry about lugging your luggage either.

New: Travel with the ARTOUR self-driving bus
Since October 2025, the ARTOUR autonomous bus has been connecting Arbon railway station with the old town – and stops right outside the Römerhof.
This makes it even easier to get from the train to our hotel.
