How can I reserve a table?
You can book directly through our online reservation system or by phone at +41 71447 30 30. For larger groups, we recommend booking in advance. For groups of 10 or more, a set menu will be arranged beforehand.
Are there vegetarian or vegan dishes available?
Yes, we offer vegetarian options. We are happy to prepare vegan dishes upon request – please inform us when making your reservation.
Is the lunch menu different from the dinner menu?
Yes, we serve a smaller menu at lunchtime, while the dinner menu is more extensive and includes seasonal specialties. You can find the menu on our website under Restaurant Menus.
Is there a terrace?
Yes, our cozy terrace is a great place to relax.
Can the menu be adapted to allergies or intolerances?
Of course. Please let us know about any allergies or intolerances when you make your reservation so we can prepare alternatives.
Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
Dogs are welcome throughout the restaurant and on the terrace. Please let us know when making your reservation that you will be bringing a dog so we can assign a table accordingly.
Do you offer takeaway?
We do not offer takeaway.
When is the restaurant open?
Our restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday (Saturday evenings only). Our closing dates can be found under Restaurant Opening Hours.
Are there parking facilities?
Parking is available directly at the restaurant. The public parking area is subject to a fee. Arbon is also easily and conveniently accessible by public transport.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash and our Römerhof vouchers.
Do you accept Reka checks?
Yes, we accept Reka checks. However, they cannot be used for group reservations.
Do you accept the Lunch Check card?
Yes, we accept the Lunch Check card for meals in the restaurant. However, it cannot be used for hotel services.
Can I pay with a voucher?
Yes, you can pay with vouchers at our hotel. For Römerhof service vouchers, please send the voucher in advance. Vouchers from third-party providers must be redeemed via the respective booking portal, depending on the provider.
Is there a separate room for parties and celebrations?
Yes, our restaurant has 2 historic banquet rooms, ideal for private parties, birthdays, corporate events or seminars for up to 50 people.
Are there any seasonal specialties?
Yes, depending on the season we serve special menus and promotions, e.g. winemaker's fondue in winter, St. Martin's goose in November, Valentine's Day menus, Good Friday menu, Mother's Day menu or asparagus dishes in spring.
Is it possible to just enjoy drinks?
Yes, you are always welcome for an aperitif or a glass of our house wine – inside or on the terrace.
Is it possible to visit the Davidoff Cigar Lounge without eating?
Yes, our Davidoff Cigar Lounge can also be visited without food – simply enjoy a high-quality selection of cigars and fine rum in a relaxed atmosphere.
How can I order gift vouchers?
You can order gift vouchers directly in our online shop. "Print@Home" vouchers can also be personalized with images and text.
Do you have a large wine list?
Yes, our wine list includes over 140 selections, many of them regional wines. It was awarded silver at the Swiss Wine List Award.
Are children welcome in the restaurant?
Yes, children are very welcome here. While we don't offer a specific children's menu, smaller portions, pasta, or fries are available upon request – so even the youngest guests can enjoy a healthy and delicious meal.
Do you host tastings, wine evenings, or special themed evenings?
Yes, we regularly offer culinary events such as "Wine & Dine", sabering events, and other themed evenings. You can find all current events under News.
Do you offer saberage?
Yes, we offer sabrage and are a member of Sabre d'Or – so you can enjoy professional champagne and sabrage experiences directly at the Römerhof.
Are there charging stations for electric cars?
There are no dedicated parking spaces for electric cars directly at Römerhof, but you will find numerous charging stations nearby, e.g. at Rosengarten, Jumbo or Seevida.
