Are there parking spaces in front of the hotel?
There are parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, these are free for guests who book directly (otherwise CHF 5 per day). Please park where it says 'Gasthaus Römerhof'. The larger part is a public parking lot. We are not liable for any fines.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Check in is from 2 p.m. and check out by 11 a.m. If you arrive late, we can deposit your key.
Ist eine Early Check in oder Early Check out möglich?
A guaranteed early check-in or early check-out in a reserved room is 100% of the room rate. If available, an early check-in or early check-out can be booked under the following conditions:
Early check-in from 10:00 a.m .: CHF 50 per room
Early check-out until 2 p.m.: CHF 50 per room
Early check-out until 4 p.m .: CHF 75 per room
Early check-out until 6 p.m .: CHF 100 per room
Is breakfast included?
If you book the room, breakfast is included. The times are from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Is the restaurant open every day?
Our restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays as well as 5 weeks of company holidays per year. You can find the current opening times here:
How much is the tourist tax?
This is CHF 2.80 per person and per night (from 16 years).
Can I take a dog with me?
You are welcome to take your four-legged friend with you. The price per animal and per night is CHF 20.
Can you rent bikes?
We have a limited number of e-bikes available. The price is CHF 50 per bike and day. We would also be happy to recommend Velo Hohl at the train station.
Do you have activities for children?
We are happy to provide you with a duplo box for smaller children and a Lego box for older children during your stay.
What are the cancellation costs?
The cancellation conditions for direct bookers are as follows:
Up to 3 days before arrival: free cancellation possible
Up to 1 day before arrival: a cancellation fee of 50% of the room price will be charged
In the event of a later cancellation or no-show, 100% of the room price will be charged.
For cancellations via travel agencies or booking portals, please contact the booking portal.
Is there space for an extra bed in the room?
In the 'Deluxe' double room there is space for an extra bed and in the 'Charme' double room for a maximum of 2 extra beds. The children prices are as follows:

Is the Internet Free?
The internet is free.
Is the hotel barrier-free?
Due to the historical structure of the building, the Römerhof is unfortunately not barrier-free and has no elevator.
Can I book half board?
The 3-course pampering half-board can be booked in advance during the normal opening times of the restaurant. Cost: CHF 69 per person and evening. Please inform us of any allergies.
